Pretty please with cheese is a delightful story of a preschool girl, Naveen, who would rather not turn in for the night. She can only come up with many reasons to avoid going to sleep, hoping her mom would let her skip bedtime.
A little about the author:
Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Amel believes in the power of stories and their positive impact on the lives of young readers. As a child, her dad’s bedtime stories about strange happenings, epic quests and magical beings who grant wishes brought her inspiration, excitement, and joy. Then at a very young age, Amel immigrated to Ontario, Canada, with her parents and had difficulty fitting in. Again, it was books that brought her comfort and joy and fueled her imagination. They helped her navigate an overwhelming experience in a new country. Now as a mother, she has carried on her family’s tradition of storytelling with her children, bringing them joy and wonder through the magic of her stories. Her debut children’s book, Pretty Please with Cheese, is a heartwarming tale of a mother’s love and patience for her little one. Written from a child’s point of view, it is a relatable story, filled with whimsical and vibrant illustrations, that brings lightheartedness to a challenging situation
